W a s h i n g t o n (PRO) - Whoever looks upon the earth from high above with "Google Earth" or "Google Maps", will find the Good News even here! One user discocered the message "Jesus loves you" in the Idaho mountains.

If you know "Google Earth" then you will know the fascinating possiblities the giant in search machines offers online since the year 2004. Having downloaded this program onto you computer, you can fly around the earth with just some mouse clicks. This is made possible by satelite pictures of the company "Keyhole", who bought up Google two years ago. Their service can be used from "Google Maps" (maps.google.com) in the web browser without the necessitiy of installing "Google Earth".

At present, a very special link is floating through the (Christian) weblogs: The words "Jesus loves you" built in white letters on a meadow.

The letters are about 9,50 meters tall (about 31'), thus to be seen very well from outer space. Someone has to have built them there some years ago, some 18 km (11 miles) northeast of Idaho State Capitol Boise, says a Google Earth Community user. The exact coordinates are 43°38’43.00"N 115°59’33.50"W.

A Google Earth Community member wrote into the forum, "The other day, I went past this and I asked myself if one could see it in 'Google Earth' - and really, you can."

By the way, here is something, people think you can make out Jesus' face by. It is located some 2.000 meters (6561') above sea level of the Peruvian Andes.
