Initiating Fund Raising Tour
In Germany
in our Gospel Church in Vilsbiburg
July 2nd, 2006

On June 26, 2006 both Angelikas (!!) arrived in Germany. For Angélica Romero, shortly: Angie, it was the first trip over the "big pond" ever! And so, there was a lot for her to get used to. When I asked her on the phone after their arrival here, of what her first impression was on Germany, she only said, "Oh my, everything is soooooo different...". I hope that in the meantime, she has adapted herself a little bit!

During their 3-months-stay here, they are taking Angelika Walker's parent's home in Reutlingen/Southwest Germany as their base. After relaxing a bit because of the long flight and enjoying meeting her family again, both women came to us, initiation their trip through Germany at our church.

On this photo, Angie explains her worship dance she was performing. I was so overwhelmed by her sovereignty and expression of her love for Jesus in her dance that I simply forgot to take photos....

There was so much sunshine in the room... Still, you can see some of the attentive listeners!

The speech of both, Angelika started it with a short sermon on the Samaritan, was very impressive. It didn't leave anybody cold to hear first hand of what the kids and youths there had to go through in their young lives. And to learn then about how Jesus came for their rescue was completely overwhelming! I could relate to it so very well by every move Angie made, especially in her dance performance. And so, many tears could be seen while she was telling her story - in herself the same as in the people listening (you can read it on page 15 in "Kids Looking For Sponsorships).
