"A Flavorful Life"—Chinese Ministry Serves Up the Gospel within Restaurant Industry
Teresa Neumann, Breaking Christian News BCN, August 16, 2008

In Hamburg, Germany, during a one-week outreach in June nearly 500 Chinese restaurants heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Christian Today reports that the Chinese Christian Herald Crusade Restaurant Gospel Ministry (CCHC) is taking the Gospel to hundreds of Chinese restaurant workers across Europe this summer.

During the week of outreach in Hamburg, Germany in June, CCHC missionaries shared the Gospel in nearly 500 Chinese restaurants in and around the city under the motto of "A Flavorful Life."

According to the report, the CCHC was started in England in 1992 by the Rev David Cheung, a Chinese Christian who used to own several Chinese restaurants. When he felt the calling of the Lord, he sold all his restaurants to begin evangelizing others in the Chinese restaurant industry.

Chinese restaurants are reportedly regarded as the 'financial pillar' of Europe's Chinese immigrant community.
