God wants to use you, you ARE worth it!

Who does not know those nagging doubts of not being good enough for God... We are all attacked by them every now and then, just because we are so far away from being perfect. Did you again react too much out of your temperament? Did you snub someone? Or do you again believe the lie that you can't do anything right? You didn't graduate from highschool? You are having problems to forgive person X? You can't get yourself up to doing a certain right thing? This is just a tiny selection of a huge quantity of reasons why people may think they're not good enough for God. I'd really like to comfort you: God does not look at things the way we people do! He can use you, regardless of what is happening in your life right now, no matter where you are at right now! He not only can use you, in fact, He will!

Here is a list of several Biblical personalities used by God. Even if this list might look a little funny at first and might cause you to smile, it is really to be taken seriously! You'll be surprised to see what sort of people they were - and who!!! So, next time you feel like you're not worth it, God can't use you, then have a look at this following list again:

NOAH was a drunk....

ABRAHAM was too old....

ISAAC was a daydreamer....

JACOB was a liar....

LEAH was ugly....

JOSEPH was abused....

MOSES couldn't talk....

GIDEON was afraid....

SAMSON had long hair and was a womanizer....

RAHAB was a prostitute....

JEREMIAH and TIMOTHY were too young....

DAVID had an affair and was a murderer....

ELIJAH was suicidal....

ISAIAH preached naked....

JONAH ran away from God....

NAOMI was a widow....

JOB went bankrupt....

JOHN the Baptist ate bugs....

PETER denied Christ....

THE DISCIPLES fell asleep while praying....

MARTHA worried about everything....

MARY MAGDALENE was demon possessed....

The SAMARITAN WOMAN was divorced... more than once!!....

ZACCHEUS was too small....

PAUL was too religious....

TIMOTHY had an ulcer....

and LAZARUS WAS DEAD!!!!

Yet God used them all!!! Even the dead Lazarus! If others look at us like worthless, then God sees our potential! So don't put yourself under stress. God wants to get the best out of you - afterall it was Him who, at some point, has put it there! If you know what sort of problem it is that you cannot correctly deal with, then ask God to help you with it. If you don't know what it is, then ask God to make you realize it. Also then He will help you overcome it, if you allow Him to.

Our God is a loving God. He does not walk around with His indice finger up, hoping to find the tiniest little flaw in you on order to punish you. Would He be like this, He would have never ever given that sacrifice to redeem us! Then we would really have received our punishment. But God loves us so much that He has done everything to prevent us from just that!

So if He has done this, do you really think that this comparatively tiny little problem of yours would be reason enough to punish you anyway? I can't believe this for one single moment and I don't find any proof for that in the Bible, either. What I do find proof for however is this: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have life eternal", John 3:16.
