Okay, let me tell you about our ministry. The name of our church is Living Water Christian Fellowship, located in Cebu City. It is an independent church which believes that Jesus came to set the captives free, and I say Amen to that! Our church will celebrate it's 18th anniversary this November (2005) and we have about 100 regular church attendees.
This is me, Jeziel, and my worship team at church. Our goal is not to glorify anybody but to worship God in spirit and in truth. I belong to the Praise & Worship team. Every month, our team conducts outdoor crusades in different urban areas near our fellowship center. Our goal is to spread the gospel to the people who are living in urban areas and also to inspire them with Christian songs and life changing testimonies from the members of the team. We are not paid for this but we are doing it to expand the ministry God has bestowed on us.
I am also one of the youth leaders in our church. As a result of our outdoor crusades, we have new young people who are now joining with us, and every week, with 2 other girls, we do follow up Bible Studies for the new young people. Praise God for that! Every month, we also gather different churches from our area to have a joint revival fellowship wherein different young people join together to worship the Lord. Awesome, isn't it?

And we have a feeding program every Saturday in one of the areas in Labangon. There are 100-120 children every week who come to hear the word of God and after that, we feed them good food.
Children from the feeding program in the tribal area. Most of the kids from this program are homeless and consequently uneducated. Right now, we are praying for God to sponsor ten of them. We want to give them stability and education. Please join us in this important prayer.
Note from Birgit:
It is impossible to alleviate all the suffering of the whole world. But whatever we CAN do, we SHOULD do. One thing, the most important thing, is prayer (James 5:16). So please, take these kids into your prayer lists! Look into their faces of the photo above - smiling happily! Here, they CAN be happy, because they are under the care of God's family. Please help them stay this way and even improve by getting whatever kids need and also have the right of having. We are called to do the Lord's work. If it is by praying or by whatever else. Of course, nobody is urged to do anything. Everybody has a calling of their own, where they can make use of the skills God has put into them. If it is not this ministry here, then use it for whatever God has called you to do. But whoever feels THIS ministry on their hearts, please don't hesitate in donating financially, if it is any possible. For the time being, write to Jeziel (i.e. to Birgit, and I will forward your mail to her) directly for her to tell you where to send your donation.
