Mourning over the gruesome death of our three brothers in Malatya/Turkey, some Turkish brothers from the Vineyard Church (website in German) in Langenthal/Switzerland, have written an under the skin going song on forgiveness. It has overwhelmed me even in my own life's problem.

Affettin
You have forgiven

Affettin, Affettin, Affettin sen beni

Affettin, Affettin, Affettin sen beni

Beni redetmedin. Sen beni kabul ettin

Beni ismimle çaigirdin

Beni terketmedin, kollarina aldin

Suçlamadin sen beni afettin

Affettin, Affettin, Affettin sen beni

Affettin, Affettin, Affettin sen beni

Günahima bakmadin

Suçumu saymadin

Sen beni sefkatinle cagirdin

Derdimi dinledin, hatami afettin

Gözyaslarimi sevginle sildin

Affettin, Affettin, Affettin sen beni

Affettin, Affettin, Affettin sen beni

Çagiririm ismini

Yakaririm duy beni

Yalvaririm tut beni

Ihtiyacim var sana

Benim en zor anima

Güçsüzlügüme bakma

Beni al kollarina

Sar beni ve birakma

You have forgiven, You have forgiven, You have forgiven me

You have forgiven, You have forgiven, You have forgiven me

You have not rejected me, but accepted me

You have called me by my name

You have not forsaken me, but have taken me in Your arms

You have not put blame on me, but have forgiven me.

You have forgiven, You have forgiven, You have forgiven me

You have forgiven, You have forgiven, You have forgiven me

You have not looked upon my sins

You did not object me with my guilt

You have called me with Your mercy

You have heard my sorrows and did not blame me for my errors

You have wiped off my tears with Your love

You have forgiven, You have forgiven, You have forgiven me

You have forgiven, You have forgiven, You have forgiven me

I call on Your name

I cry out to You, hear me

I beseech You, hold me tight

I need You so much

In my darkest moment

don't look at my weaknesses

Take me into Your arms

Hold me tight and never let me go
