Everytime, there are news on what God is doing in and through Living Water, Jeziel will provide us with them and I will upload them here.

Greetings!

How are things going on with you? I hope all is well with you upon receiving this email. God has been faithful to me and to my family as well as the ministry in our church.

This past few months, I've been busy with a lot of things in our church and that is mainly the reason why I haven't emailed that much. Anyway, I am excited with the work God is doing in the lives of the youth and with the worship team in our church.

This coming May 21-25 '07 twenty of our young people will be going to Kidapawan, North Cotabato to join a youth camp. Most of the kids that will join are from ages 13-18 and most of them are students. The place where the camp would be held is very far from our place. That would be 12 hours boat ride and from the port, 8 hours bus ride to the destination area. So, that would be 20 hours travel from our place. It's quite far since it is going to be in the southern part of the Philippines. During the camp, the kids will be drawn more closer to God and they will be able to fellowship with their Christian brothers and sisters in Mindanao area. The highlights of the said camp would be the training of the kids to focus on seeking God, to be closely familiar with the Bible, to learn about praise & worship, to develop their talents and skills in singing, dancing and to be able to build close relationship with other culture(cause you see in the Philippines, if you're in a different part--you have a different culture).

I do believe that God has a big purpose and plan for allowing this event to come. And the event will not be successful if we lack resources for the said event. Right now, I am knocking at the door of your hearts, asking you to help the work God is doing in the lives of these young kids. In behalf of these kids, I ask you to help us financially so that we can send these kids and let them experience what the Lord wants them to experience. We need $600 for the said event, and I cannot support them alone. With God as our provider, I trust that He touches your hearts right now. If you feel the touch of God and you feel that He wants you to help these kids, please feel free to write to me. Any amount will do to help with the fare and the food of these young kids.

Thank you for your time and I know that God will reward you with this one. Please feel free to write me so that I can send you the details for your donation.

Thank you so much and may our Heavenly Father richly bless you.
Your prayer and support counts!

In Christ,

Jeziel

Have you heard about the news in our country? A lot has been going on here... Last 2 weeks, St.Bernard Leyte had a big landslide. It was a tragic experience for the people there, many lost their lives and many others became homeless. And just last week, our president declared a National State of Emergency. Every people is going mad with our president. Please pray for our nation...

And also please pray for the lives of the victims in Leyte. They need financial help. My dad went there to give some help to them and until now, we are raising funds for the victims there... if you can help, any amount will do or if you have used clothing or whatever things you can send here to help them, that would help them a lot....

Thank you very much and may God bless you abundantly,

Jeziel

I, Birgit, have opened a PayPal account where you can transfer your donations to (it is an official account of our publishing company "edition lebenswege"). Like this, bank fees will be saved. I will wait until a certain sum is achieved and then I will transfer the whole sum to the mission owned account of Living Water.

Greetings!

Praise God for the marvellous things He's been doing in each and everyone's life!

Things are getting great here... God has been putting things in order specially with the youth ministry in our church. Just last week, we launched the Youth Aflame's Praise and Worship team (youth group of our church). A lot of them signed up with different ministries (ushering, evangelism, etc.). Right now, these young people are undergoing lectures about their commitment in regards to the ministry. I believe that God is molding each of these young kids to rise up as leaders someday. It is our vision to impart to them the foundations of our faith so that when they're done with the lecture, they will be ready set out as fishers of men for Jesus, Amen!

Tomorrow, January 22nd, Asian Center for Missions will be coming to have a Youth called for Missions concert. They will be doing that in our church for the benefit of the young people who feel the call of God for missions... Please pray for these event.

And next Sunday, January 29, that would be the Grand Bible Quiz Bowl of the different churches in our area. These young kids are learning so much about God from the Bible!

As for me, my work with the Korean institution is still going on. It will be until 2nd week of February. Please pray that God will give me direction after this teaching job.

That would be all for now!

Jeziel is back with some real beautiful news:

Greetings from Cebu City, Philippines!

God has been so good in my life and the lives of the many young people in here. The name of the youth group in our church is YOUTH AFLAME. Our desire is to continue to be on fire for the Lord.

Every Friday from 10pm onwards, the youth gathers in our church to have an overnight prayer meeting. These young people dedicated their lives for the glory of God and it’s amazing how God moves us in many ways. Please continue to pray that the Lord will preserve these young lives. Satan is roaming around waiting to devour anybody and we need your prayers as we also pray for you.

We celebrated our 18th church anniversary last November and it was amazing. God showed us how faithful He has been to our church.

The young people in our church will be having a Christmas party this December 16. Please pray that God will be with us on that day.

Another year will come and we will be planning new activities that will help the youth grow spiritually. If you want to give me your suggestions on what activities and materials you think would help the youth to grow more in love with the Lord, please feel free to email me.

Here some pictures of of our 18th anniversary celebration:

A picture of our platform taken during our 18th anniversary.

Youth Aflame’s presentation entitled “I will Testify” - the message of the song is that we will testify God’s love no matter what we are. As you can see their clothes are different from each other. These are representations of each sector in our society.

The dance presentation of the youth group during our church anniversary.

Some of them acted out our church history.

These are some happy faces of the youth in our church. Jeziel is in the middle of the upper row.

This was taken after our church anniversary. We celebrated the success of our anniversary since all of us worked hard during the preparation.

These are some of the kids in our church…

These are the updates for now.

Prayer Requests:

- Please pray that God will give us a big vehicle (like a mini bus) for our outreaches

- that God will preserve the lives of these young people

- that the youth will focus their relationship with the author of life - Jesus - and not go into wrong relationships.

Thank you so much for your prayers! God bless you…

October 17, 2005

Yesterday, October 16, during our youth fellowship, we showed "Passion of the Christ" film. After the movie, 8 young people received Christ and after that few were baptized by the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit was so strong, shouts of praise and cries of joy were heard all over the place... The 20 young people who were present were touched by the presence of God and thanks be to God we have new schedules for Bible study that will be opened tonight. Please continue to pray for these young people that God will cover them from temptations. They are hungry for God's Word...

Aside from that, I will start teaching English on Wednesday and Thursday night.. These are two different class schedules and most of the students are young people from our church which have not finished highschool or elementary. This is a good tool for evangelism also since most of them will invite friends that have not been to church yet... please pray for this ministry...

Missions Training is doing really good. I am learning a lot of new things which I also shared to the young people in our church...

This is all right now for the glory of God!

Jeziel

Today is a small graduation celebration at SEAMIST. Jeziel finished the course with distiction, and I thank our good Lord for it! In fact, she did the course so well that I am really curious to see in what the Lord will be doing with her in His time!

In the evening, Jeziel will return to Cebu. Now, she needs time to relax... It was hard work in Manila.
