Despite her hard past, Marta is a happy person!

She is the sister of Daisy and Angie Bautista Reyes. But she lived with her family only for her first 3 months of her life. Her aunt had found her totally neglected and halfway starved in her room in a slum area and took her to her home, otherwise Marta would not be alive today.

When Marta got older, there was not enough money for her maintenance. So she was given back to her mom when she was 5 years old. There she lived for a year; and also she was being abused sexually by her grandfather. Later, she could go back to her aunt who was looking for an institution for her. Yet also there, she was being neglected and it took 2 more years for her to come to Mercy Mission.

Marta loves her aunt and calls her mom. She goes to see her on vacations. In the meantime, she is with us for 4 years now and she feels at home here. What she is lacking most though, is a father. Her real father is in prison for first degree murder and sexual abuse of her half sister Daisy.

There is a lot of jealousy between the 3 sisters, as Marta was better off than her 2 sisters, for her aunt cared more for her than for them.

Up to now, she is being supported by an american ministry under the condition of changing to live there after a few months. As she does not want to go there, this support will cease in a short while. This is why she is looking for sponsors. Her monthly needs are:

Schooling: 30.-€
Transportion fees: 40.-€
Maintenance: 45.-€
