The Kids And Their Stories
Photos of kids with sufficient support or who don't live at Mercy Mission any longer, have their own rubric below. I have left their photos here for a reason - as they are or were part of this ministry having left their foot prints there, thus making Mercy Mission a HOME for many!
Well, here I introduce those to you this ministry is all about: the inhabitants of Mercy Mission! Angelika provides us step by step with pictures and stories of "her" kids. In part, it is harrowing to read the reports on them and I can only thank God who made them find their way to Angelika. You can see it in lots of pictures - this is how happy kids look like! Yet at the same time, their faces are often still being marked by times that were anything else but happy...
Unfortunately, life in Colombia is not very cheap. This is why many kids are having more than one sponsor. Nobody should feel urged, though - whoever would like to sponsor a child should not force himself to give more than he/she thinks possible, thus making him/her a "cheerful giver" as to 2 Corinthians 9:7!
