Cristian came to live with us in September 2005. Before that, he lived at another institution that was led by a danish missionary. They had to close down because of financial reasons. The children had to be taken quickly to different ministries, before they would have been taken into state care. This is how Cristian and his sister Paola came to Mercy Mission; their younger sister lives at a different ministry. Cristian is a very happy little person and has accepted his new mom Teresa very fast.

These children had been taken away from their mother as she was living with a man who abused Paola sexually. This man is living in hiding for some time now and their mom is allowed to visit her kids, and they can stay with her on vacation. Yet she does not have enough money to take care of them. This is why all of her kids are living at different ministries. When Cristian came to live with Mercy Mission, he was bedwetting, since he was always frightened as he witnessed his sister being abused. When he started talking about this, he got healed.

Cristian loves joking around and is happy when his mom comes visiting him.
