Luís attends a school for maladjusted children and youths and has changed a lot since.

Luís' story is one of hurting and rejection. He was not a wanted kid. His mom was very young when she had him and lived in a slum area of Bogotá for a while with some family. All Luís was confronted with there was brutality and rejection. Later, his mom got a job in our neighborhood. At that time, Luís and the twins had been locked in a tiny, narrow back room for 8 to 10 hours per day, nobody addressing them. Luís was very aggressive at that time. He bit and scratched his small, defenseless brothers. This is why he got beat and the small brothers had to suffer for it in turn afterwards.

This went on until we got to know him. And so the twins came to Mercy Mission. We could only help Luís in part at that time, as he was very aggressive and erratic to the other children.

Yet 2 years ago, thanks to some loyal supporters, we could give him to a professional school for maladjusted kids. There, they are doing a fantastic job. We were told to take him completely in, in order to advance his healing process. Yet this is costing 60.-€ per month. Who would like to help Luís?
